Physical symptoms of anxiety can be:

Faster, shallower breathing, faster heart rate, blushing, feeling sick, upset stomach, butterflies, dizziness, shaking, sweating, or increased need to go to the toilet.

Emotional signs of anxiety can be:

Feelings of stress, tension, fear, anger or annoyance, feelings of helplessness, being unable to concentrate, focus, relax or settle.

Common anxieties include:

Social situations, public speaking (even in small groups), health (worrying about how well you are), body dysmorphia (comparing yourself unfavourably to others), fears or phobias. There are many other things that may cause someone to feel anxious.
